Let’s Change The Cover Date on our Old Planners | Penny Planning Hacks – Day 4

Day 4 of Penny Planning Hacks ✂️📓
Today we’re finally starting the transformation — updating the cover and inside pages of an outdated planner so it actually feels new again.

The obvious move is stickers (and yes, I’ll probably end up there 😅), but this series is about options. Whiteout, washi, handwriting, full decorative covers — you don’t need fancy supplies or perfection. You just need something that makes the planner feel like yours.

✨ Your task today: decide how you want to update your cover page, then share your idea in the comments. It might help someone else figure out their approach.

Save this for when you’re decorating, and follow for Day 5 — we’re tackling the Year-at-a-Glance pages next, including how to redate them or repurpose them with no dates at all.

Hobonichi Cousin Flip Through – January Thru October 2025

I’m not perfect in my planning, but I try. This is a very honest view of my planning, and you can see, I took entire months off where I didn’t decorate my planner at all. Not every day can be aesthetic, but I do genuinely use my planner for actual planning, and I take time off, too! 😍 #planners #plannerflip #hobonichi #plannerinspo

Storage for pens matters, do you use a drawer, pouch, or shelf organizer?

Storage for pens matters, do you use a drawer, pouch, or shelf organizer? I keep my favorites in a 10 slot hard case where I can keep them safely in my bag without anything leaking (especially the fountain pens). I also have a tote style organizer on my desk to keep the rest of my collection, but it’s getting crowded! How do you manage your collection? Influence me into a new storage solution! Follow to see how other pen enthusiasts do it. #stationeryaddict #stationerylove #fountainpens #penlover
